My finance is a chain smokers and does not seem to realise the dangers in smoking,i tried to make him understand,he promised to stop but he till didnt change,rather he will stop for some time and later go back to it;He is really pissing me up with this habits of his,i dont really know how to make him despite smokind,your answers is deperately neededHow can i make him understand the dangers of being a smokers?

Have you tried doing something with him!
ask him to find a bad habit of your's that he wishes you to stop and both you start changing that habit!
Let say your over weight so he stops smoking and you start to work out and eat right@

also try to ask him not to stop but to be aware.. say i know you want to quit on your terms but will you could you do me a favor and lessen your smoking just cut back a bit. or give yourself a limit per day or at least wait 30 minutes before smoking another smoke!

Sadly they will never learn. My husband's aunt was the same way. The doctor told her if she doesn't stop smoking she can find herself attached to an oxygen tank for the rest of her life.. She had a tumor in her brain, and the doctor said her lungs looked worse than her brain. But she can care less about herself. I really don't know what to do. Behind my neighbors house who lives across the street there's a house that has rows of kennels with dogs in them and one dog chained outside. I always hear the dogs crying over there. At first I thought that maybe I was just over thinking it but I've gotten a little worried lately because they seem to be backyard breeders *And I'm very sensitive about that* and they have a lot of dogs and they keep changing them from time to time. They have different breeds back there and they're not walked, just kept in the kennels all day. They are fed and given water but sometimes I don't even see the owner come out to feed them at all. I don't know if I should report this because what if I'm wrong and animal control doesn't find anything wrong? Will I get in trouble? My neighbor told me to that she saw the owner shoot one of his dogs one night and that really got to me. I suspect abuse *like hitting the dogs* but I'm not 100% sure.
Also my parents have these friends who have these 3 dogs, 2 chihuahuas and a %26quot;Great pyrenees%26quot;. Even though the chihuahuas are taken good care of (if you don't count the abuse from the kids) the great pyrenees is chained outside and isn't fed everyday. It has old food that's already molding but that's all they give him until he eats it all. And he won't eat it (for obvious reasons) and one time the little girl who's 4 went up to it and started hitting it with a stick and he didn't bite her but he did scratch her in the face, and her dad got mad and almost shot it (they saw her hitting the dog but they didn't stop it). And just yesterday I overheard them telling my parents that they don't want it anymore and that they're just gonna leave it when they move or they're gonna sell it. And it really pissed me off, but I don't know what to do because my parents told me not to worry about it...but how am I NOT gonna worry about it? It upsets me because even after all that it's such a gentle dog, like when we go over their house and he sees us play it comes running but then the chain stops him and he chokes all he can do is just watch us....it's really sad actually cause he's such a beautiful dog who deserves better:[

Definitely plead to your parents to keep the dog because her really needs someone who can love and care for it. Plead with your parents to at least buy the dog from him. Talk with them and tell them that you'll help with the responsibilities and that you do not want to see that dog get hurt anymore. That he will be a great addition to the family, and that they even saw a small glimpse at some of the torture that the dog went through (and that they did not even report it or say anything about it).
I feel so sorry for the dog and I wish you could have him as your own.
I hate people who mistreat animals. They deserve to sit in the cages they put them in.
I hope that dog becomes yours, and if it doesn't i hope that it can go to someone who will care for it the right way.

How do I change my Army Psychiatrist? Can I stop seeing him?
I am in the Army and have been seeing an Army Psychiatrist for a while now. Seeing him was conditional upon my discharge from the hospital. He keeps waving the words Medical Evaluation Board in my face every time I go to see him. He also argues with me about the same thing every time I go to see him. Sufficed to say, he is irritating me. He claims that the medication that got me admitted to the hospital triggered a psychological defect I already had. I know myself, and I know that I am not crazy and that it was definitely the medicine that made me crazy. Can I just tell him to %26quot;F%26quot; off and stop seeing him? Can he make me come back using my chain of command? I don't mind changing to someone else, but if they keep talking about MEBs, I would like to just stop altogether as that is not a road I would like to go down. Do I have the right to stop seeing psychiatrists??? Do I have the right to change psychiatrists??? Better yet, are there any resources out there regarding fighting a MEB? I would think that you would deffinatly have the right to choose your phychiatrist. I wouldn't go as far as telling him to f off but politely and calmly explain what is going on to someone of higher athority and that deals with that and they should deffinatly help you out.
