How Often Do I Need To Replace The Timing Chain in My 03 Sebring 2.7l?

I have a 2003 chrysler sebring sedan lxi. It now has 64k miles on it and it runs great. I know the history of the 2.7l but i have babied this car with synthetic and 3500 mile oil changes. I was wondering when it would be necessary to have the timing chain and water pump replaced?

Thanks in advance%26gt;How Often Do I Need To Replace The Timing Chain in My 03 Sebring 2.7l?
Well there are no plastic gears in there, and the '03 has the redesigned tensioner system and is thus much more reliable than the earlier engines.

The timing chain is not replaced as a general maintenance item. The water pump is separate of the timing chain, and should be replaced when and if it fails. It would be wise though to flush the cooling system if you have not already done so. That should be done at least every three years. How Often Do I Need To Replace The Timing Chain in My 03 Sebring 2.7l?
if you are lucky ...never... but if and when you need to opt for all metal gears ...they are way better than the plastic crap they put in cars now of daysHow Often Do I Need To Replace The Timing Chain in My 03 Sebring 2.7l?
if it has a timing chain... then, as soon as it breaks..
