Hi my sister in law has just bought a 2004 mazda 2 anatres (petrol) without asking any mechanicial questions etc however i have a question which is does the car have a timing belt or a chain and if so how often does the timing belt need to be changed. I shall look forward to reading your answers

Timming belt is required to be changed every 60,000 miles in most cars.
